Scentall Bloodhounds were established in South Africa in 1978, and came to England in 2005.
In 2005, Sniffer Baggens of Scentall came in to the UK
from South Africa having won 3 CCs with Best of Breed and
3 Reserve CCs. Baggens started his UK show career with a
BOB and CC in 2006. [ Pictured with Skye right in Autumn 2008.
He passed away at the age of ten and a half years in 2013. ]
Baggens sired the
Kingswater H-litter
born 12th March 2007,
from which Kingswater
Hippichik of Scentall
was kept.
In 2006,
Cammonstone Jupiter
joined the Scentall Kennel,
and sired Hippichik's first litter, born on 24th January 2010; the Scentall L-Litter.
From the Scentall L-Litter, Scentall Legend was kept . . .
In April 2013, an addition to the Scentall Kennel was Winni,
Maplemead Myrmidon of Scentall.
Winni soon started ringcraft, and her first show was Bath Championship
Show where she was awarded Reserve Best Bitch. This prepared her
for the Bloodhound Club Championship Show on 9th June 2013,
at which she won the Novice Bitch class [left]. Winni won the
Postgraduate Bitch class at the ABB Championship Show Sep’ 2013.
Winni won the Bloodhound Club Open Show 3rd November 2013.
Later Winni was mated to Sue Emrys-Jones’ Swedish import
Flushtimes CW Tor The Shepherd with Marksbury.
Ten puppies were born on
20th November 2015.

at the Association of Bloodhound Breeders
Open Show in April, and at the
Bloodhound Club Championship Show in June.
Poetry won Limit Bitch at the November
Bloodhound Club Open Show.
In 2017, Poetry was Best Bitch and
Reserve Best in Show at the
Association of Bloodhound Breeders
Open Show in April.
